Being named the best school to study English in Baguio City has kept us blissful in gratitude and honor for over 22 years… and counting.
And as we persistently remain to be the top choice, we have developed a commitment to improving our services by creating more opportunities, not just for our students to showcase their progress when they study English with us but also for our employees to stay stalwart because, through them, this kind of eminence was made possible— achieved through their notable determination and sealed with ideal professionalism.
In return, we are deeply appreciative of the collaborative effort and support of everyone through the years… so to ensure that Pines International Academy continues to be known for quality accomplishments and works, we are implementing a bi-monthly evaluation process called ASPES, which is conducted to assess and reward the dedication of our administrative personnel; as their preeminent performance is pivotal in maintaining our invincible rank in every “where to study English in Baguio City” surveys.
And without further ado, we present you an in-depth flow of our 1st awarding event on October 7th:
The ASPES Awarding for the term July 04 to August 26 started with an invocation led by Mr. Epifanio Adenig.
And was followed by a PowerPoint presentation of Ms. Evelyn Palomares, interpreting the salient points from the book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey, an American educator, author, and keynote speaker. Her 15-minute pitch was the zenith of the awarding ceremony as she edified the attendees with the importance of a paradigm shift to advocate a happy work relationship and a successful workplace.
Before the most awaited part, Ms. Joan Agbuya shared an overview of the evaluation mechanics, along with an illustration of the computation of the overall scores and final rating.
As you can see in the photo, we are not that strict… but of course, I’m just kidding. Here at Pines International Academy, we take this evaluation pretty seriously. Because in our defense, it’s our way of keeping our employees character-ready and globally competent.
And then… we’re down to the good part— and if we change the lyrics from the song of Lalisa Manoban to “we come here to drop incentives”, then it would’ve perfectly encapsulated this recognition part.
First and foremost, Pines International Academy proudly presents the Star Admin of the Term, Ms. May Baustista, with a stunning 98.78% Overall-Performance Evaluation (OPE).
Secondly, we celebrated the distinction of our 10 staff with outstanding OPE, who garnered an above 97% average.
And lastly, we acknowledged the 2 groups, that generated a 95% weighted average.
Group 2: Team Mark Yabes and Febeth Bullong
Group 5: Team Epifanio Adenig and Allan Galawa
After the awarding, we also celebrated the presence of the birthday celebrants from July to September through a meal fellowship.
