Two months in Pines is the best time in my life: I met a lot of people and friends from other countries. I love my classmates- Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese. I love my roommates, too. All of them are very lovely, nice and friendly. I can understand more about their countries. Thanks to my teachers. They’re very funny, friendly and supportive by talking with me to make me stronger. I hope that I can go back here. It’s a good place to practice English.
Thank you. Good luck. P.s. when I chose Pines, I just like the weather, and it’s cheap. But now, I love you. <3

Pines International Academy is the best school in the world. Because Filipino teachers are better than Japanese teachers and so kind. There are a lot of great teachers and other nationalities in here. All of my teachers are wonderful, good at teaching and very easy to talk with using the English language. I was blessed because I made a lot of friends. Before I came here, I was shy to talk with people from other countries. But I think that my speaking skill improved. So I was really glad to come here. I don’t know if all of my English skills have improved but my memories in PIA are my best treasure. And I didn’t like English before I came here. But now, I like English. I love English. I want to come back again. I will continue to study English when I go back to Japan. Thank you so much, Pines International Academy!!
Sora Iwamoto(Mar 2 - Mar 27) Japan
First time I received my test result, I was really worried about my level. Because my English skill was not good. My first term was also a little bit difficult to me. So that time I was disappointed with my English skills. But after a few weeks, I started to make sentences though I still made a lot of mistakes. I think my English level is better than before. And my classmate also told me, “your English skills improved.” So I’m proud of myself. I will try to study English continuously. Thank you.

I’m so happy that I’ve chosen PIA. When I arrived here, I was a little scared, but everyone here was very friendly. I met a lot of friends from different countries. We went to a lot of places and made good memories. I think if I go back to Taiwan, we will keep in touch forever. I stayed here for a long time, but three months is very fast. The teachers here are very friendly and helpful. Same goes for the Chinese manager. He helped me a lot. I very much enjoyed my life in Pines.
Chu Bi-Hue (Jan 6 - Apr 4) Taiwan
I am satisfied with my life in PIA, with my teachers and with everything in here. This is my first time to come in Baguio. I was surprised with my teachers, the local people, the service and the treatment given to me. All of my teachers are very kind, helpful and very enthusiastic. They inspired me. Thank you very much.
Le Thi Mai Huong(Feb 18 - Mar 15) Vietnam
I thought it was hard to study English in an unfamiliar place. But since I came here, I’ve been studying English really hard. The most important thing is to make friends from different countries. I am very satisfied with my education. Thank you teachers, staff, manager and so on. I want to come back here. I made precious memories.
Lee Ha Rim(Jan 2 - Mar 1) Korea
I am really satisfied with my decision to come here. I can see the improvement in my English skills. If I have an opportunity, I’ll come back to PIA. I want to emphasize that PIA is the best. Thank you for everything.
Ganchimeg Bold(Jan 19 - Mar 2) Mongolia
I went to PIA to improve my English skills. During my first week, it was difficult for me to listen in English. I also couldn’t speak in English or make sentences, because I couldn’t remember the vocabularies. But my teachers were very friendly and they taught me well. So, I enjoyed learning. It’s only been a month but I improved so much. I’ll keep on studying English. Thank you so much.
Morikane Takuya(Feb 2 - Mar 1) Japan

When I first arrived here, I felt nervous because I was alone and there were many other foreign students, but after the first week, I made a lot of friends and there were other aged people so I feel better and I could enjoy my time. PIA is very clean and their staff are very kind so I can spend time with happiness. Thank you!

I suppose Pines International Academy is almost good for me because of the curriculum, quality of teachers, facilities, and especially food. The best thing for me though is the quality of teachers. Next to that, I liked the clean facilities. I was surprised at the beauty of the room.
Yuya Iwase(Oct 26 - Feb 15, 2019) Japan
This is my first time learning English in a foreign country. This experience is totally fruitful for me because of the following reasons: first, I could make many foreign friends in PIA. For example, my classmates were Korean and Mongolian. Therefore, it was a good opportunity to learn and understand their culture, habit and opinion. Second, I could learn English all day. I have no enough time to study English, so this kind of environment is good for me. I’m looking forward to doing business with foreign people. If I can take a long paid leave, I’ll come back!
Amanuma Takuhito(Dec 24 - Jan 19) Japan

I came here to make a lot of friends, especially foreign friends. The class atmosphere in Pines is excellent and I won’t forget my teachers and classmates here. I love Baguio City’s weather and fresh air. Every student is studying hard every day so I also study hard. I enjoyed my Pines’ life. I went to a lot of places like Hundred Islands and San Juan Beach. It’s really nice in there. If I have a chance, I will come back to Baguio to study English again. Thank you.

When I first took my classes in Pines, I couldn’t say anything. But now, I feel better than before. If my friends ask me about my life in Pines, my teachers and the study system, I will tell them it was good. If other people want to study English, I’ll recommend to them Pines Academy. Thank you.

I think all of the school services are really good. The school environment, especially the dormitory structure is really comfortable. Overall, the teachers and other employees are so kind. When it comes to the academy rules, it’s really strict, but I like it. It helps me improve my English skills. All managers are kind, friendly and when I ask something, they explain thoroughly until I understand it. In conclusion, the weather is the best thing in here. It’s good to live and study here in Baguio. Thank you so much.

I’m really glad that I came here. I think PIA is the best English academy in my life. If I didn’t come here, I can’t meet other people from other countries. I made a lot of memories in my life. The clinic, room and cafeteria staffs are very friendly. Thank you.

I really like this experience about studying English in PIA. I got along with other students and they are very kind. We went out every weekend. In Baguio, there are many delicious foods and mountains, and the prices are reasonable. The weather is also cozy. In PIA, I think studying English for only two months is not enough. But I did my best. I think the best way to study English is talking to foreign students and memorizing a lot of vocabularies. If we know a lot of vocabularies, and practice more, we can easily talk to foreigners.

My favorite class is Speaking as I can express my idea to my teachers. They check my pronunciation and grammar for me to come up with an ideal answer (for IELTS Speaking). Also, they give effective coaching. At the end of the class, they give me a list of feedback.

Pines International Academy offers 4 hours of group classes and 4 hour man to man classes. I think both group and man to man classes are very efficient.

I went to another academy before I came to PINES. I could easily see more advantages of studying at PINES compared to the other academy I came from. I was very satisfied with the curriculum, kind teachers and accommodating managers. Food in the cafeteria was also nicer than I expected. I met international friends and had built good friendship. PINES life is so memorable for me. If I have a chance to study in PINES in the future, there’s no doubt I would come again.

Many people said that it’s a wrong decision to study in the Philippines. But I was sure that what they said is not true. My English skills was very basic when I was in PINES for the first time. However, as I continued learning, it gave me confidence to communicate with foreigners effectively. Thank you so much PINES!
