Article: Oh Yu Jin | Topic: Baguio Weekend Activities
We are Chonbuk University students who are enrolled at Pines International Academy. On weekday mornings we work as interns and study English at night. We actually see it as meaningful part of our lives as professionals who are learning short English courses abroad! When weekdays are over and the weekend comes,we try new things upon going out from our Philippine English Academy. We recently had a Baguio City tour, so apart from that; I want to share our weekend activities and city tour highlights.
First, we went for a picnic at Camp John Hay picnic grounds. We ate hamburgers from McDonald’s for brunch. From our experience, it would be efficient to bring mats because there’s a rental fee for tables and tent.
Next, we went to a bowling alley and killed time until the rain stopped. It often rains in Baguio, so we planned some indoor activities, too. And the bowling alley is located in Center mall, Baguio.
In the afternoon, we went to SM which is the largest mall in Baguio. After buying the things we need, we watched “ANT MAN” without a Korean subtitle. It was really a memorable experience. Before going back to Korea, we are going to watch this movie and check out the rate of our English listening skill improvement.
We enjoyed eating pasta and pizza with our academy managers and happily went to a massage shop called Sparadise. The massage really made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We are highly recommending you to go there.
Our awesome weekend ended at 9:00 pm.
