IMPRESSIONS OF PINES STUDENTS
This is my first time learning English in a foreign country. This experience is totally fruitful for me because of the following reasons: first, I could make many foreign friends in PIA. For example, my classmates were Korean and Mongolian. Therefore, it was a good opportunity to learn and understand their culture, habit and opinion. Second, I could learn English all day. I have no enough time to study English, so this kind of environment is good for me. I’m looking forward to doing business with foreign people. If I can take a long paid leave, I’ll come back!
(Dec 24 – Jan 19)
Hello. My name is Tengis Turbat. I’m 17 years old, a high school student. I’ve studied in Pines for only one month, but I’ve learned a lot. My future goal is to study in one of the most known aviation university in USA. By going to Pines and with the help of my teachers, I improved in every aspect of my life. It was a bit challenging for me to learn English but I overcame it. I’m very grateful to my teachers. I wish you guys all the best. Thank you. 🙂
(Dec 21 – Jan 19)
I’m satisfied with my life in PIA. All of the teachers are friendly and kind. They tried to make the class interesting. All of my friends are good. Thank you!!
(Oct 13 – Dec 21, 2018)
I came here to make a lot of friends, especially foreign friends. The class atmosphere in Pines is excellent and I won’t forget my teachers and classmates here. I love Baguio City’s weather and fresh air. Every student is studying hard every day so I also study hard. I enjoyed my Pines’ life. I went to a lot of places like Hundred Islands and San Juan Beach. It’s really nice in there. If I have a chance, I will come back to Baguio to study English again. Thank you.
(Sep 15 – Dec 5, 2018)
When I first took my classes in Pines, I couldn’t say anything. But now, I feel better than before. If my friends ask me about my life in Pines, my teachers and the study system, I will tell them it was good. If other people want to study English, I’ll recommend to them Pines Academy. Thank you.
(oct 14- Dec 7, 2018)
I was born in DongNai province, Vietnam. I’m happy during my study time in Pines Academy. Although I didn’t have much time to study here, I learned a lot of things. Thank you Pines for helping me during my stay.
(Sep 17- Dec 7, 2018)
I think all of the school services are really good. The school environment, especially the dormitory structure is really comfortable. Overall, the teachers and other employees are so kind. When it comes to the academy rules, it’s really strict, but I like it. It helps me improve my English skills. All managers are kind, friendly and when I ask something, they explain thoroughly until I understand it. In conclusion, the weather is the best thing in here. It’s good to live and study here in Baguio. Thank you so much.
(Nov 10- Dec 7, 2018)
When I came here, I got homesick and I really wanted to return to Japan. However, PIA teachers kindly taught me. So now, I’m glad that I came here. It’s my first time to study abroad and it was a good experience. Thank you very much. I’m going to Ireland next year and I’ll do my best there. See you. <3
(Sep 3– Oct 26)
When I arrived in PIA, I was a bit nervous because I must speak in English all day. I was not used to this way at first but this could improve my English skills. In my 1:1 classes, I always talked with my teachers. In 4:1 classes, I met student from other countries. In addition, the school environment is very good. I was very happy during those months I stayed in Pines. Thanks to PIA and to my teachers.
(Aug 16- Oct 12, 2018)
During my stay in Pines, I got a lot of help from teachers. My English skills in listening, writing, reading and speaking had improved. Thanks to PIA. Furthermore, Baguio is a beautiful city. If I would come back, I’d like to study here again.
(Sep 15- Oct 13, 2018)
I’m really glad that I came here. I think PIA is the best English academy in my life. If I didn’t come here, I can’t meet other people from other countries. I made a lot of memories in my life. The clinic, room and cafeteria staffs are very friendly. Thank you.
(Jun 6- Aug 2, 2018)
I really like this experience about studying English in PIA. I got along with other students and they are very kind. We went out every weekend. In Baguio, there are many delicious foods and mountains, and the prices are reasonable. The weather is also cozy. In PIA, I think studying English for only two months is not enough. But I did my best. I think the best way to study English is talking to foreign students and memorizing a lot of vocabularies. If we know a lot of vocabularies, and practice more, we can easily talk to foreigners.
(April 14 – June 8, 2018)
My favorite class is Speaking as I can express my idea to my teachers. They check my pronunciation and grammar for me to come up with an ideal answer (for IELTS Speaking). Also, they give effective coaching. At the end of the class, they give me a list of feedback.
(May 13 – Aug 5, 2017)
Many people said that it’s a wrong decision to study in the Philippines. But I was sure that what they said is not true. My English skills was very basic when I was in PINES for the first time. However, as I continued learning, it gave me confidence to communicate with foreigners effectively. Thank you so much PINES!
Through Pines, I have improved my writing skills. My teachers are kind and professional at the same time. They gave detailed coaching even on writing.
(Nov 13,2017– Feb 2,2018)
I went to another academy before I came to PINES. I could easily see more advantages of studying at PINES compared to the other academy I came from. I was very satisfied with the curriculum, kind teachers and accommodating managers. Food in the cafeteria was also nicer than I expected. I met international friends and had built good friendship. PINES life is so memorable for me. If I have a chance to study in PINES in the future, there’s no doubt I would come again.
(Mar 28– Jul 15,2016)
I enjoy PIA life because studying English here is really interesting. Everybody in the campus is cheerful most especially the teachers. They are also kind and they deliver fun classes through unique activities. I took listening, reading, speaking and writing classes . The textbooks are very useful.
(Jan.8 – Mar 30, 2018)
Pines International Academy offers 4 hours of group classes and 4 hour man to man classes. I think both group and man to man classes are very efficient.
(Feb 6 – Mar17, 2017)
I was afraid of speaking English. I used to be confused with simple words like sugar and salt. However, I learned to speak English very well by studying here. On my last day, I delivered a speech in front of many students. So, I can say that my English skills improved. Next time, I want to come to Pines again with my mom. Thank you Pines!
(Oct 16- Jan 5,2018)
In Pines, I study with students with different nationalities; I think it is good because it gave me chances to practice my English speaking skill.
