Pines Academy provides a remarkable English learning experience for its group students by letting them attend a special internship program with the cooperation of 3 Philippine Government agencies namely : Department of Tourism, Philippine Information Agency and Baguio City Office of the City Mayor.
Students will face the greatest challenge of their careers by working in a government agency that will give way to honing their English communication and technical skills. Students introduced themselves on the first part of the program and they shared their expectations on working in Philippine Agencies. Students will have to work with seasoned government employees.
The 3 representatives gladly discussed the roles of their agencies for the Filipino people.
Department of Tourism actively promotes festivals and cultural events that give a solid identity to the Philippines.
Philippine Information Agency disseminates information and news to Filipinos.
Finally, the office of the City Mayor organizes city development and planning. With these tasks mentioned, students will be able to experience working in the real world with the use of the English language.
The students attended the afternoon interview for their initial language and technical skills assessment . This is a promising experience for future global leaders and English communicators 🙂
