Most Pines Students have always perceived Philippines as a tropical country with an extremely hot and humid temperature. Little did they know that Baguio City has this special autumn-like temperature.
Let’s have a glimpse of our first month students’ fashion statement now that it’s getting a little cold in the city, particularly at Pines Academy. You may also check out English terms for your fashion vocabulary knowledge.
Windbreaker for instant comfort
“I have brought some basic shirts and windbreaker. I think these are safe outfits while staying in the academy, Im not really sure about the temperature range so a windbreaker can help me get by
if it drops.” -Ken
One-piece Dress for Special Days
“I think that bringing a one-piece dress will give extra special feeling to daily classes. I came here to study, but I guess I would be more inspired if I look great in most days.” – Natalie
Jumper or sweater ? Is it Confusing ?
“Jumper or a sweater is a necessity We have already read in reviews that December till February will be chilly so we brought in some of our jumpers to keep us a little warm.” Tim & Sally
“I just love pairing my jumper with black shirt. If it gets chilly, I top if off with a cardigan.”- Amanda
Jumper in British is also known as a loose sweater or a pullover. It is also the same as a one-piece, sleeveless dress, or a skirt with straps and a complete or partial bodice, usually worn over a blouse by women and children.
Comfortable jeans for the easygoing
I think it is important to wear jeans to exhibit comfort and being easy going.
For those who are planning to study English in Baguio City, don’t forget to pack windbreakers , cardigans ,jumper , pullovers and your comfortable shirts. Bring 1 or 2 dresses or special outfit when necessary. Feel good and be confident English learners!
